I just ordered one of these Cameras....
so Canon will probably come out with a new version next week...

I bought mine at the end of Aug. and thought the same thing. After I got and used it, I don't care anymore because I can't imagine how it can be much better.

Enjoy it to the max!

Though, even if a new one does come out soon, I don't believe I'll be in line for one, for a while.

A new one from me...been a while since I shot in a studio last.

I know I'm speaking sacrilege but I'm hoping for 4K video and the video capabilities of the recent new bodies.

I would also love a headphone jack and a silent shooting mode.

Other than that, they don't have to change a thing... but they will :D

I hope they can add more mp, for cropping with full frame i prefer to have higher mp so i may end up with nearly 10-15mp after crop, now with 1DX when i crop i may end up less than 10mp even if i will not print large, but sometimes i get lucky and someone asking for larger sizes of my photos [magazine or newspaper or TV interview,...etc], so i like to have higher quality or resolution even after cropping, current 1DX is almost perfect in everything and happy with it, the only thing i really care about as improvement is more mp, others only care about high ISO or video, so everyone wish for what is missing in his experience.

I'd like to see a little deeper buffer. Its not bad as is but at 10+ fps it fills up pretty fast. I love this camera!

I consistently get 16 fps when shooting raw. Personally I never fill it because I shoot in bursts. I do fill the 7Dii buffer from time to time.

Maybe you need a faster memory card for your 1DX?

My 1DX is set to 10fps and I get 53+ RAW files (in normal conditions) before the camera slows - is this not enough? Also the buffer clears VERY quickly. I use 2 Lexar 32Gb 1000X CF cards - don't know if the current 1066X cards offer an improvement.

Life is for living, cameras are to capture it (one day I will learn how!).

I just got mine for a Bday gift to myself (prices finally dropped to what I thought was reasonable). I don't worry about the II, besides it probably won't be available to us mortals until next year around this time. I don't know what tomorrow will bring, so I am enjoying today for what it is. I'll worry about the II whenever it comes in existence, but what I can guarantee you is I won't give Canon $8k for a camera body. I will always put that money into glass, always.

Note: These images were shot at ISO 10,000, not 12,800.
