Arrived today! Haven't had a chance to play with it yet, but it sure looks like fun -- thanks, Chet!

Hope you get some use out of some or all of it. :-)

Thank you for your kindness, Gary! It will be used in my upcoming NYC trip at the One World Trade observation deck.
PM sent!

Arrived today in super shape. If you didn't tell me you've had it for a year, I would swear it's brand new! Already shooting with it, and love it. Hopefully the weather will be good tomorrow and I can get some fall color with it.
Thank you again, Gary!

I have a couple of things to give away.

CLAIMED (1. Kingston 16GB 266x CF Card. I have a bunch of CF cards and this is the smallest/slowest, so it is free to whomever wants it.
http://www.amazon.com …-CF-16GB-U2/dp/B001FO4QHI (external link))

CLAIMED (2. MSI Wind PC Barebones system. Works fine. Does not include a hard drive or DVD drive but does include 2GB of memory. I replaced this with a smaller but more powerful system a year ago and have zero need for this, so if you want it just claim it.

Well that didn't take long. :)
I loaded it with Fuji Color 200 and brought it with me to the local graveyard with my wife yesterday. I swear I'm not going to spam the thread every time I take it out (and I suspect I'll be using it often for the next little while), but I wanted to show a few results from my first trip out with it ...

My wife.
She often doesn't like photos of herself, but she very much likes this one so that's saying something. And I love it.

Thanks! The photos of my wife absolutely thrilled me. And just the colors and sharpness all around kinda blew me away. Haven't had much time to play with the camera's various features obviously, but it looks like it's gonna be a fun time getting to know it. And I haven't really done a thing with the telephoto lens yet. Thanks again for this wonderful gift. :)

This is inspiring! Exemplifies what I feel this thread is all about.
Here's the first thing I captured with the nifty fifty from Cameraman.
Cheers!

I have a cheap set of flash triggers I would be willing to part with if you would like to try out off camera flash.

Received these and I'm looking forward to learning. Thanks so much, Chet! :)

Hey, great idea for a thread here! So...

I just found this in the kitchen drawer. Everything appears to be in working order. Shutter, flash, advance, rewind, and on/off (lens cover) work as expected. Not tested. I was going to pick up a roll of film and try it out. Almost $9 a roll and more to process/print turned me off. PM with CONUS address, if you want it. I'll pay the freight. Oh, it uses 35mm cartridge film.
