This is the last village in Ladakh area of India before the Pakistan border, here tourists are allowed to go. The last mountain range that you see is in Pakistan, with the tallest peak being K2. What a lovely place, though. And such lovely people. We were quite glad by the warmth of these people considering that the village was captured by India in 1972, so they have been Indians only since then.

Incredible scenery, another place I would love to see. Watched a great film on K2 recently (K2 Siren of the Himalayas). If you get the chance, take a look. Looking forward to more photos from this series.

Nice shot. Great array of textures expressing the awesome locale.
Perhaps could be improved by avoiding or fixing the blow-out in the sky.
