I'm no wedding photographer, but I have shot a few (4) "paid" weddings for friends, acquaintances. This was for a co-worker of mine and was at a nice Venue in Saratoga. I am still in the middle of editing but here are a few that I like so far.

These are excellent!

I'm curious why you say you're "no wedding photographer"? Because you don't do it full time?

Your photos certainly make me think you're qualified...

The last photo does seem slightly underexposed though...but that's just being nitpicky

Thanks for the kind words. I guess I'm capable of shooting a wedding but not comfortable enough to call myself (or advertise myself as a wedding photographer.

The last one is def a bit underexposed. I had the ISO on my 6d cranked and it was near dark by the time I took this shot. The ceremony started an hour late and available light became a major issue. It all worked out though!

I like them very much as well. You need to consider doing this full time. One thing I might suggest and everyone has mixed feelings on this, and looking at these should not be an issue, but we never offer our services for co-workers or family. We have done so and it turned out fine, but have heard real horror stories about doing this from others.

On the last one, if that is a blemish on the side of her face and forehead, I would probably take them out and maybe even soften those lines on her neck as well.

My skills in post processing are novice at best and I really want/need to learn retouching methods. Any tips?

As far as the blemishes - I agree with the neck and forehead, but on her cheek is a mole (covered by makeup) and not sure what to do about that one.

If it's a mole, you leave it. That's part of who they are and I never remove those. Now, if it's a pimple or other such temporary blemish, then it should be removed. PS has a fantastic spot-healing brush tool that would take care of spots like that in mere seconds.

Great set!! The only thing I would do is some skin work on #5, not much but some on her forehead and cheek .
Really digging the cake shot! Good job.

As before...awesome stuff.

I really hope you consider pursuing wedding photography more fervently.

Not that photos are the only thing that makes one successful in wedding photography...but your images aren't lacking in the least.

At least partner with someone else and let them handle all the dirty work so you can just shoot!
