So today was the final show of the 2016 season and the Pensacola weather was crappy. They moved the show up to 1130 from 2PM in order to avoid forecast afternoon storms. Unfortunately the wind was light and blowing right down the runway so the smoke was not going anywhere. I figured Dehaze with a few minor tweaks would take care of it and am pretty pleased with the results. Shot at 560mm with 5D3, 100-400 II and 1.4 teleconverter. Entire frame resized, not cropped.

Dehaze? What version of Lightroom? Looks like I'm missing out? Much improved.

LRCC, the creative cloud subscription. Here is another shot showing how bad the smoke was building up after each pass. right out of the camera

This shot has its merits too, and actually it might look cool 'adding' haze to this or other shots
