^we spend a lot of time each year backpacking/cycling/pa​ddling in the backcountry and I simply cannot imagine how incredible it would be to camp under that!

It was an awesome experience :) freezing cold but the fire helped.

F3.2, 11mm, ISO 3200. 15 seconds..
Didn't really know what I was doing, amazing to see and great to capture too.
Not as good as the rest on this thread, but I'm happy with it;-)a

This one's great Mack, doesn't even look real. What did you use as a lightsource to light up those trees? I always have a hard time matching the ambient to my light source.

Cheers :) That was lit by the moon, which had another hour or so until it set? Lucky timing I guess :) lucky night actually as we had to wait a few hours for the clouds to clear.
