Just got this lens - again!
Didn't think I used wide often so I sold it and gott he 24-105L Is.
Missed the wide end!
Two yrs later I now have this sharp multi-tasker again.
Only this is used and in better shape than mine was when I sold it. Seems no lens creep as my first one did suffer from it, being of the first lot.

[EDIT: Oh I was quite wrong about lens creep - there is indeed lens creep! lol]

Does not seem to be much action on this thread but looks like people pop in from time to time ;-)a
First images 15mm and 85mm uncropped, just testing ~

Oh - do you know why it was overcast and dull outside? Because I got a new lens! That is the tradition! :-P

Cheers ~

Will, congrats on your new lens. My wife is still using hers the 70D I once owned. I still think it's a great lens though it has lost some of its luster to some here on POTN. Like you, I love the wide end on a crop camera. 18mm just isn't wide enough for some of what we do (kitchens).

We had two of them until I got my 1D IV and both of them are/were equally sharp and the color rendition is excellent. I use the 24-105L on my 1D IV for a walk around lens and the 16-35 f/4 IS for landscapes.

I got the 18-135 STM with the 70D kit but I still use the 15-85mm bought with my 40D because I think it produces overall better images.
