Still LOVING the GX8, it's going to Costa Rica next month as my walk around camera. Here is a pic of our Dock Spider (a pet for quite a while now) dressed up for Halloween-

POTN doesn't yet recognize the Lumix GX8 so I chose GX7 but all three were via the GX8, the thirdpic is the opening
pic of a timelapse on Flickr, it was also with the GX8 but with the Rokinon 12mm for mFTs.

Thanks MedicineMan4040 - yes it was hand held - it was the first opportunity I'd had to take the new camera out for a good trial and I must say I wasn't disappointed. I am thinking about getting the 7-14 lens but am put off by the lack of filter thread. I know there are one or two solutions available but haven't yet investigated more thoroughly.

I have one of those solutions for the 7-14. It works great but you loose a few mm's fore and aft. Well worth it to be able to pop on an ND or polarizer. I've got a Tokina for the EOS platform and wish something like the one I use on the 7-14 existed for it...maybe there is one now but I tired of looking a while back.
The 7-14 is my most used mFTs lens. I didn't think it would be but I love the results from it. We're headed to Costa Rica soon enough and for what landscapes there are it will be my choice.
Here is one example why-

Currently in Cost Rica, using the 7Dii and A7Rii for birding but using the GX8 for landscapses. IF Olympus had gotten the 300/4 out I could have saved a lot of weight on this trip. I think most all the bird shots I've done with the Canon I could have done with the Lumix if I'd had a longer lens :( That is with the exception of the owl shots at night-Canon flash still rules in that area. So here is a landscape from CR-

Just got back from a trip to Madeira where the GX8 had a bit more practice.

We worked the river today here in Parque Nacional Los Quetzales where of course I'm hoping for a Quetzel, but using the GX8 for river motion blurs. Here is a macro from several days ago at Volcan Arenal NP-
