I have an old M42 Helios 135/2.8 and for its size weight and price it isn't a bad performer really.no have an album on my Flickr for it butwith A7 and 5D2. It's obviously no 135L/5D2 standard but good enough for how often I use it - hence I still don't have an adapter to use the 135L on the A7. I'm still tempted to sell my two remaining Canon items....

Lovely shots. So you do medium format too? I've often wondered about getting into that, then the A7RII seemed to scratch that itch in a way, since it's almost like having a medium format camera considering the resolution, haha.

Yeah, the A7R2 is probably the closest you get to medium format with a FF sensor. Good dynamic range, fantastic resolution, good color reproduction...
But having seen work of a friend of mine with his mamiya 645 i have to say, it must be impossible at the moment to come even close to that even with the newest digital medium format cameras. The dynamic range and the richness of the colors paired with a good film, just wow. When ive seen my friends work i was shocked at what an old film camera can produce! Thats just another league. Ofcourse hes blessed with more talent than me that counts in too :p

Wow, what was causing such a strong blue reflection?

I bounced my flash off my kitchen ceiling and wall. The ceiling is whute but the wall is a sort of light green colour. I didn't even notice it had thrown my WB off as the table looked the correct colour. Looking at the shot again now though I can see that the white gopro text on the mounts is actually blue in my photo. I will have to revisit and adjust my WB

2 weeks ago I didn't have a single 50mm left, was forced to sell all my lenses to raise funds after being scammed.

Well karma was good to me because I somehow ended up with six 50s.

I might do a shootout if I find the time. Everything from Rangefinder to medium format in there. After using them all, the Minolta 1.4 has been my favorite. Just so sharp and contrasty at 1.4.

Hey Vinz. What is the light you used? I have been looking for a cheaper alternative to the costly Ice light/
