Some quick portraits, single 600ex with an umbrella, triggered by the ST-E3. Was using high speed sync, in hind site, probably could have dropped the ISO, and gone with 1/250sec without High-speed sync.

I took the beast out for a trial run this weekend. WOW! The AF is incredible. I am fine tuning, I had more OOF birds in flight than usual, but did not mess with too many settings. Can't wait to get out again to do some more thorough testing.

That Pelican looks huge compare to those Coots. You will thoroughly enjoy the X. I always knew it was a helluva camera when it came out, I just was not willing to pay the top dollars at the time for it. But, the price finally became reasonable and I jumped on it and got it form my birthday and have been loving it from day 1. I would highly suggest you test to see if any Af micro adjustment is needed. Enjoy
