QUOTED IMAGE

I like the framing on this one, & the sun in the clouds put some nice highlights in the hood.

3 is definitely my favorite for the same reasons as PhotosGuy. I'm a sucker for a nice sunset sky. How did you like using the 17-40 on rollers? I just picked one up for my 5D Mk II and haven't had the chance to use it on rollers.

Yeah I think 3 is my favorite as well. The crazy thing is, is how different reality looked from this image. It was pretty dark outside, I had to bump the iso up to 800-1000 shooting around 1/80th, and still had to lighten the image via post. I'm glad I shoot in raw so there's I have so much control, it really saved these images because we ended up leaving late. lol

The lens is fine. Seems to work well although I haven't used it as much as I'd like. I don't really like how it handles lens flare though.

Yeah shooting in raw really does save them. I have had a few times where they look fine on camera but once on the computer they were seriously dark.

Bad thing about any wide angle is that it's going to flare.. I haven't seen one yet that handles it nicely, although I like flare as long as I can position things the way I want to adjust the amount I get in the lens.
