My girlfriend took advantage of the Canon pro-100 printer deal last month and surprised me for my birthday with one! I have wanted a large format printer for a while. I see so many opportunities for prints.

One idea i was thinking about, were collage prints. You see the frames at peoples houses with a ton of smaller prints shoved into one big frame. Those frames cost a ton. So why not just print a large collage of images and stick that in a big frame?

That being said, I could spend time fooling around in Photoshop designing said templates (unfortunately I am not that creative, and don't have that much free time) So... anybody have any good recommendations for templates or places to learn how to do them quickly?

You are lucky. I know of no store around here that carries 13 x 19. I have to special order or on the net.

Awesome sources of templates Reservoir Dog, thank you! Just used that BeFunky link to make a nice collage of our family vacation to Badlands, Devil's Tower, Yellowstone and Grand Teton, that's a super easy program for collage making. Printed on Canon's Fine Art "Museum Etched" 13x19 paper and it looks great.

OP - I buy mats and frames for 13x19 all the time on Amazon. You can get some really nice looking frames and some poster like frames. If you mat and frame you want 18x24 frames and mats and the mat will be cut for 13x19 print.

6D & 7D mark II - Canon 16-35 f/4 IS L, Canon 24-70 f/2.8 L, Canon 24-105 f/4 L IS, Canon 70-200 f/2.8 IS II L, Canon 100-400 f/4.5-5.6 L IS II, Canon 50mm f/1.8 STM, Canon 85 f/1.8, Canon 100 f/2.8 USM macro, Canon EF 1.4x III
