Hi guys!

I am sure I am of but a minuscule of members from the great territory of Nunavut, Canada. I am going to use this thread to share with you some of my experiences in my close to 3 years of living in here!

The Apex cemetery, outside of Iqaluit, hold their own version of the "Pearly White Gates" as it houses the jawbone from the July of 2011 Bowhead whale hunt. It was the first time one of the giant mammals had been killed in Frobisher Bay in more than 70 years. The pillars stand roughly 20ft tall!

Our snow is finally here to stay, and the days keep getting shorter. Before you know it we wont see our rugged land until the beginning of May.

We were in Inuvik this summer and caught the art show. Great scenery. Had a heck of a time adjusting to 24 hour daylight.

Nice Shots. I've been through there on my way to Resolute Bay a few times. Res Bay has the "First Settlers" memorial with some Bow Whale bone frame igloo sites. I managed to get a shot of a skull long since caught and bleached white by the elements back in Aug.

Sun for 24hrs or dark, the place remains the same but looks so different each time I see it.
