I know all the flashes are manufactured by one company, but are the triggers also interchangeable?

The Adorama package includes the Flashpoint R1 Flashpoint Commander Transmitter and Receiver Set. Will those receivers work with a CheetahStand Cells II-C transmitter?

Yes they will

I am currently mixing, Cheetah, Godox and Neewer brands, all are manufactured by Godox. The Neewer set sells for $33 at Amazon.

Can anyone 100% confirm that the Godox Cells-IIC works with the Canon 1Ds Mark III?

When I insert it onto the hotshoe, the pin will cause the flash to fire but shutter actuation does not.
Test button works to fire while on the hotshoe.

FT-16 works just fine.
channel dip switches all match.

This is the same symptom with my 1D3, the body detects something in the hot shoe but will not actually trigger when the shutter is released - they do work with the 5D classic, so looks to be a firmware issue in the Cells IIc - I ended up grabbing a YN622C TX / RX set

All the same, even the "Genesis" version that Calumet sold with different group labeling on the receiver and transmitter.

Usually the result of an alignment problem. Check to ensure that the foot is slid completely into the hot shoe.

It's sitting correctly, definitely a coms issue between trigger and hotshoe.

I don't think FW can be updated on this.

Try this:

Remove the Cells II from the hotshoe. Put it the camera in Tv mode, then set the shutter to 1/800 (or any SS above sync speed). Take a photo. Then put the Cells II in the hotshoe to see if it will allow you to take a photo above 1/200 (or whatever the sync speed is), or if it defaults to 1/200 (or whatever sync speed is).

Has anyone used the modelling light that's now available for the 360? Just wondering if it works well and if it's a faff to set up?

For those of you using the 360 what is the largest umbrella/softbox diameter you feel one 360 will efficiently illuminate? I currently have the streak light 360 and am using it with a 40" umbrella. However I just ordered another streak light so I want to buy another modifier for that one. I would like something bigger any recommendations from current 360 users. I don't want to go overboard and get something bigger than what one 360 can support.

You could use the search option and search for "modelling" in this thread.

Will the 360 fill a large soft box just as effectively as the 7 ft umbrella or would it be subject to hot spots? How do you think it would perform with say this soft box?
