looks like some kind of iguana to me.

Now that you've said that I think you are correct. I gauged the scale wrong when I looked initially and it seemed a lot bigger. Komodo dragons also have forked tongues

I think vinz may have the FDn 20, not sure. FM has made a thread on the subject, the 20 is supposedly really good: http://www.fredmiranda.com …8114/0&year=2014#12185103 (external link)

Thanks for the link, Ill check it out. I was wondering if this would scratch my loxia 21 itch at a fraction of the cost

it's a little big, however I did something similar to scratch the itch, picked up an OM 24 f2.8, which should arrive today. Many 20-24mm options were considered, the OM was supposed to be the upper tier, and the size made it very desireable for me, only 185g and even when adapted, still very small.

Ill check that out too. Do you think the FDn 20 is smaller than the Samyang 14 overall?

Got a little trigger happy on ebay and ended up overpaying for a new toy(custom fully restored SX70), so unfortunately have to sell one of my toys.

Up for grabs is my best 50mm, I'm selling it dirt dirt DIRT CHEAP. As you guys have seen the samples from this thread it's a super piece of glass and looks awesome on the A7. Tossing in the full frame adapter for free as well.

rok: D x L = 87 x 96.1 mm
fd 20: D x L = 76.5 x 58 mm

the FD is quite a bit smaller, but still fairly large, weighing in 300g

dimesion wise, the OM 21 f3.5, 24 f2.8 should be half the size of the FD lens, but weigh nearly 2/3 the weight.

OM also makes a 21mm f2 which only weighs 250g..., but too expensive for me to acquire.

btw, canon has a really nice site to search older stuff: http://www.canon.com …eum/en/lens-nfd-wide.html (external link)

basically the newer FD *probably* has the best optics since all the lenses are multicoated, however OM glass is harder to figure out. You'll have to know some markers on the lenses, such as "Zuiko" > "H.Zuiko", and sometimes serial numbers matter. Non multicoated can become flare monsters that really destroy IQ, so I try to avoid them. I have a few non coated lenses that perform very bad in certain situations.

Thanks Charlie, just realised I was being a bit lazy there asking you dimensions of lenses I could google ;) . Pretty handy link there too. This morning I said to myself I was going to calm down on the lens purchases and 10 hours later I'm looking at the fd 20 lol. Need to try and be strong for a bit but the fd20 is definitely on the radar (along with the FDn 300 f/4 L)

For the record. I have the FD 24/2.8. Great little lens at the right focal length. I don't think I need 20 or 21. I'll just pick up the CV 15 to have someone way wider, but for the most part, I find wider than 24 starts to look too unnatural for most of what I like to shoot.

Sony A7RII and a bunch of lenses.

This is my oldest great grandson. I don't see him often so it's difficult for me to catch a decent photograph of him unless he's distracted. I'm sure Eddie understands as I'm sure it was tough getting a shot of his son at this age even being with him every day.

So many great shots over the past few days. Well done guys.

Has anyone had an issue where AF won't work on a Canon lens with the MB adapter? I've been unable to get AF working on my 16-35L and a7RII. I tried reconnecting everything and rebooting my camera but AF won't engage.

You don't look old enough for even grandkids Gene :) and yes Eddie an iguana.
Now a shot that screams why I love the Sony sensor, it was horribly backlit but so easy to pull shadow and see the beautiful face and grin, and the baby-
