Any CC would be appreciated. I know in the first shot I have the tree growing out of her head. I am mad at myself for that, but hopefully it is out of focus enough to not be so obvious. These shots were done with my 70-200 with a single flash on camera left.
Also, in the 2nd shot, should I try to clone in her missing tooth, or is that considered ok for a 6 year old to be missing one of her baby teeth.

While the tree is growing out of her head its not a major distraction. The tree blends into the background well enough that itsnot going to bother anyone besides you. Nice work. I wouldnt replace the tooth unless the family asked for it.

I don't think the tree is a problem either.

I would fix the hair thing mom's got going on though. She's got two sort of stick outs on her right that look pretty odd, and the single really noticeable one in the third picture.

Regarding the tooth, maybe replace it and show them both versions and see what they would like.

I think you did a great job here. Pretty shots.

Heya,

I don't think the tree is distracting enough to matter here.
I would not clone the kid's teeth. It wouldn't look natural unless you basically re-did the whole mouth. Not worth it. Also, that's who she is.

The only thing I'd think about, maybe, is perhaps temperature. Seems a little chilly to me for an outdoor fall shot like this. Maybe try a warmer temperature at see what you think?

Very best,

I would leave the tooth alone but would work on the stray hairs of both the mom and the daughter.

Very nice images!

Your off camera light is really great. I always want to bring off camera lighting to family session but all my fall sessions have been families of 2+ kids that are at the age all they want to do is run away. For that age I always end up going for a quick run and gun style.

The client won't notice but the tiniest bit of boot is cut off in 2nd.

Good stuff. My only nit to pic would be in the first image the kids appear exposed 1/3 stop over the mom. Color temp looks fine to me, but I live up north, not in FL;-)a
Both kids are cute, but the little one in the first image is adorable.

Tree out of the head is no big deal. I'd bet that most non-photographers would not notice.

Maybe present the option of cloning the tooth, then it's their call. I think your lighting is very good.

To me that thing sticking out of mom's lower lip looks crappy. But that's a subject for another forum.

1 and 3 are great.... I am a big fan of OCF and blurry backgrounds.. The detail in the tree bark is distracting to me in the 2nd shot.... The family will love them all..
