You may want to test AuroraHDR. Photo looks great to me. Nice colors and composition. xpfloyd wrote in post #17793750 Sorry for the re-post here but I have realised that using Lightrooms HDR merge function always gives me halos. One thing I hate with HDR is when you can see a halo along an edge. I had previously been using SNS-HDR but switched to Mac and had to stop using it so started using lightroom instead. On the shot below there was a strong halo along the line of the pier as it met the water. So today I decided to purchase Raya Pro after some of you guys had been speaking about it in here. It was confusing at first but im happier with this re-edit below than I was with the LR HDR version. ![]() C&C Welcome - Alfredo -

thanks, met a photographer out there and gave me some tips on some access points worth exploring. He told me US bank is making an observatory at the top in a year or two, cant wait to be at the top! I've toyed with selling the FE 35 1.4 + one other lens to fund the rx1rII, but am wondering if it would be a worthwhile trade-off or not. I'd basically give up some capability to add a compact second body to my kit. focalpointsphoto.com

I'd basically give up some capability to add a compact second body to my kit. I am sorely tempted to get one. Here is my situation: I got the 5DS R, love the camera, think it's great.....BUT I am so nuts about my a7R II that I literally have to make myself use the 5DS R. Meanwhile I've also been craving a 35mm lens for a long time. I've had/tried several of them, the FE 35mm f/1.4 ZA being the best. But, my copy was defective and the reason I never re-purchased it is I struggled with the radioactive green fringing in the bokeh (and also from a trust issue regarding Sony's lens manufacturing process). So, the idea of a Zeiss lens absolutely optimized to a 42 MP sensor is extremely appealing to me. The price: not so much, but the way I look at these things is all about usage level, and I would probably use the heck out of an RX1R II as compared to my 5DS R. David | Flickr

Your thinking is the same as mine David. If I got the rx1rII, it would be my daily driver camera... The a7rII will have its uss when I need other focal lengths, but a fixed 35mm camera can realistically cover most of what I need to shoot. focalpointsphoto.com

The a7rII will have its uss when I need other focal lengths, but a fixed 35mm camera can realistically cover most of what I need to shoot. There was also someone on dpreview that managed to modify the wide angle adapter for the F28 to mount onto an rx1....turned it into a 26mm f2.8. Optical quality seemed good because the baseline optics of the 35 f2 are phenomenal. I'm getting this weird idea of selling the FE 35 1.4, the Batis 25 and getting the rx1rII. When I first bought the A7R, it seemed relatively light and small enough to carry around all the time but I wanted something smaller and more compact. I bought the A6000 which is a great "pocketable" camera but I have found its sensor and crop factor limiting especially with the kit lens (that's what makes it small). I love the A7RII but am finding it has become less portable. I think it is a combination of weight and recently the larger sized lenses - either that or I am getting old. In any event, I am looking forward to a small/light camera with excellent image quality which I will find easy to carry around with me all the time. I am looking forward to see what the RX1RII can do... 1DX, 1DIV, 5DIII, A7RII, RX1RII, 14 2.8L II, 35 1.4L, 50 1.2L, 85 1.2L II, 135 2L, 16-35 2.8L II, 24-105 4L IS, 24-70 2.8L, 70-200 2.8L IS II, 300 2.8L, 400 5.6L, IS, 800 5.6L IS
