Tuesday evening, around 6:30PM, as talking to my neighbor outside in yard, saw one of the most intense FireBalls ever seen, that is on the sky of Los Angeles (that is heavily light polluted). It occurred in ESE, extending to SE. I was always going to believe we are going to see something similar to what happened in Russia not too long back! And no for those who are local, this is not in the direction of recent missile test that is completely in opposite direction.
It gets really frightening when you think of it as this being what exactly happened some 60 million years back and changed the size, shape, configuration of life totally, on the face of Earth, in a totally different presentation, so we are here today and for sure something that will happen again! But then nothing to worry more than the next tax paying date, so for now, continue on what you all are doing as per norm and don't blow up your life saving and bindings yet!!
Anyways, nice images and should be a good thread to grow up, hopefully. Honestly I am tired of seeing only "Milky way" and "Moon" thread all the time, in this "Astronomy & celestial" thread, otherwise the thread that is hated/neglected/voided by other photographers, when it rightly deserves a lot more.
