I saw last night canon changed the price of the eos-m3 with the evf-dc1 view finder to 529.00 ,so this morning I called B&H to see if they would price match,I was put on hold ,he came back and I was told they would beat it for a price of 448.
This is a similar deal to last weeks price when the camera was 579 and for a another 20 bucks the view finder was tossed in ,with the extra 150 canon knocked off this week it makes a decent deal if your on the market for one.

Heya,

B&H has the M3 (body only) for $429 as the normal price right now on their website, since yesterday's ad.

The post on CPW makes it sound like it's a permanent price drop on the EOS M3:

$448 is the price with the EVF. Quite a nice price IMO and available on their website when you bundle them together.

I sure hope so.

Then maybe they will be $300ish on the used market, where I'd be willing to buy it.

:)

Very best,

On Amazon, a number of vendors are selling this camera at this price. The M3, despite its shortcomings, looks pretty attractive at this price.

That is looking good. Wish the Fuji XT-1 would go down :)

A number of vendors are selling eos-m3 with the Evf-dc1 for 448 with free shipping and a USA warranty?
Many of the bargain eos-m3's on Amazon are from Japan without warranty and until today this beats all those prices also, and if they do have them that's great but the deal wasn't around until this morning which is the reason I posted it.

Heads up, I'm a huge EOS M fan and was really looking forward to the M3 but I've read numerous reviews that performance wise, the M2 has been better and functions with other Canon lens flawlessly. I'm reading that the M3 has been having issues AF issues with non EF-M lenses.

But if you are in the market for a camera with some of the new features such as the swivel screen, then maybe it's for you. I feel like it's something to consider since the M2 can be had for very cheap now.

on BH's web site on the M3 page there is a button that says Make A Bundle just under the add to cart button. If you hit the bundle you can add the EVF for just $19 more which makes the $448 price. I just jumped on it, that is a better price than the ebay grey market versions and it comes from a great company.
