Subs: 45 second exposures x 67 = about 50 minutes worth
30 darks and 30 flats and 30 biases.

These were taken with the Sigma 50-500. The first one is Comet Panstarrs in March 2013.

Thanks! I had to drive 2.5 hours outside of town to find a dark site. I like www.darksitefinder.com​/maps/world.html (external link) for this.

Playing with some old data that had a lot of issues just to see and learn what I could pull out. No flats or darks because I really didn't think I could get anything usable because the sky went sour after I set up. Good to learn with though. 5D mkIII, 300 2.8 is @ 3.5 , 50x 46, iso 800, atlas EQ-G

This is the story of an unexpectedly perfect balance: on the one hand the whole scene is illuminated by street lights of a village about 100 meters to the right, on the other hand light pollution caused by these lights is not enough to prevent a good view (given the proximity) of the starry sky!This location turned out way better than I've ever expected (especially if you take on account that i've never been there :D ).
