Gotta say, I like the way you can scroll the info when looking at the pic on the back screen. I like the color R/G/B histogram showing along with the brightness, and had to fiddle a bit to realize how it works on this new animal.

I agree. Additionally, we can Finally see what focal length was used for a shot unlike on the 7d.

I really like this, probably since he is such a young kid.
If it were mine, I think I would try a crop to remove the extra space above his head to bring better draw to his face. Probably remove the top line of your watermark and above. Just my 2cents.

Never noticed that before. That is useful!

Picked up a new toy today:

With some upcoming travel I decided that a small general purpose walk-around lens might just make life easier at times. Took it out for the sunset this evening to see how it would go, it does flare a little if you aim it at the sun but considering there's no lens hood and just how compact and light it is, I'm quite happy with it really. Looks a little odd on the 7D2 with battery grip, but I'll take that off when I go on holiday . Does ok on the cats too - from my quick play so far it's certainly sharper wide open than my 17-55 f/2.8. Have to get close though.

nice shot Robert! I'd clone out the branch on the top right to give it a cleaner look and more isolated on the bird.
