Very nice series. I enjoyed looking at them all. My guess? You are partial to #1. I think I am too. I'm still working on correct exposure for a Great White Egret. Sometimes, I get it right, sometimes I blow out the whites. You did an excellent job.

1DX, 70-200 2.8 mkII way out of my comfort zone - people shots / indoors and dark, this is Hannah Wildes singing at the start of a charity boxing event

And the event mentioned -

Cory was asked to shoot a charity 'white collar' boxing event by her boxfit studio and she asked if I would help out as second shooter.

1DX, 70-200 2.8 mkII handheld and no flash permitted.

Images are nice and crisp (no iso noise). But I'm not too fond of the direct-down lighting from the top, creating lots of shadows that hides the face. Would have been great to have some direct flash to help illuminate/offset the shadows from the lighting up top.

But overall, looks great.

Thanks. I've never tried flash, but I don't really like flashed football either. The football fields in our area are slowing moving to lights, so this will at some point become the norm. At least they are getting good lights.
