Canon has several DSLR that are bundled with this printer.

I already have one bought with my 6D. Just curious what could be the value for a brand new in box pro-100.

Thanks.

Complete with inks... $150-250 depending on your local market.

Check your local CL as these monsters tend to stay listed if not priced aggressively.

I usually sell mine for $120 cash as a local deal on CL, or $140 with a ream of the 13x19 paper.

I've seen them as low as $75 here. There's a ton of them around with these Canon bundles these days. Most here are priced around $100-125 or they just stay on Craigslist forever.

I live in central Texas. I just checked the local Craiglist for that printer. I saw $125, $125, $150, $200. There is one for $15, I believe that should be a mistake.

I am tempted to get the 7D II bundle. Just concerned with the hassle of rebate and selling the printer. If I could fetch $125 net, it is still a good deal for me.

Thanks for all the replies.

I have resisted hard for my GAS. Not sure if I will win though :-) Maybe I should not get 7D II as I already have 6D. My priority should be the 100-400 II.

Perhaps you should keep and use it?

I see some on the CL here around $15, but they have had the ink cartridges removed, probably to use in their other printer.

With the inks and printheads I would agree with the others in a bit over $100. The ink alone runs $100 for the 8 pack on Amazon, so the bundle is worth well more than that. Many people though will take the ink and or printhead and try to sell the printer for $100 or more and they will sit there pretty much forever.

Your best bet is to expect to use the printer. It produces really nice prints.

I forgot the value of the inks. As said, I already have this printer. Maybe $1,129 after rebate is not bad at all.

I just bought mine for $75 new in box with the paper. Listed on Craigslist in Milwaukee for $95 OBO for a few days. I was heading that way so I offered $75. Set it up today and printed out some 8.5x11 and a 13x19 print.. Very nice printer.

Are the inks that come with the printer the same as the refill in terms of the amount of ink? I know it's typical of printers to have ink cartridges that do no contain the same amount of ink as a replacement cartridge. Not sure if this applies to this printer.

Man. Stories like this kill me. Here in Canada I've bought Canon body/lens/grip bundles or have otherwise benefited from someone selling parts of their bundle but we just don't get the Pixma bundles here like in the U.S. Buying an unwanted bundle printer from the U.S is kind of impractical with shipping costs, etc. too. I'd love to get my hands on a deal like yours.

Where in Canada? I'm hoping to sell my unopened PIXMA 100 for 150USD on CL locally, but I'll be in Toronto in the next couple of weeks and could bring it up if you're interested. Since I haven't even put it on the market yet, it's not quite the deal carpenter got above, but no hurt in asking if even in the right area.

I just bought one from Best buy. Ca for $299. I was thinking of ordering on from Adorama but didn't want the hassle and potential rejection of the rebate?

Not sure about rebate for Canada. It should work. The rebate is about $200, for buying the printer alone.

Question for those of you who have this printer. Do prints look better on glossy or matte? I have the printer on the way but want to order some paper for it.
