Hello people
This is my first post/thread?.. ever! I have always liked taking pictures but never thought about actually getting a professional camera. Luckily, my uncle @tundrasport had his old camera, a Canon 20D, just chillin in the billiard room all alone not being used. So I thought I would ask him if I can bring it back into action..and he said yea! So now I'm just starting to learn how to use it. I've taken a few shots just for practice but I really want to learn how to use all the different settings on the camera. I am currently a student at a Florida Atlantic University so I haven't had the time to read the whole manual on the camera but I'm determined to get through it so I can really get into the zone when I take some shots with it.. Here are some of the first few pics I've taken.

Welcome. The manual is good as well as here and YouTube.

Welcome to POTN Vanessa.:-) Definitely read the manual, but you can find information here on just about any aspect of photography that you could think of. Learn how to use the search function.

Bryan Peterson's book Understanding Exposure is very helpful.
