Thank you, Annie! Funny thing is, we are transplants and don't really celebrate Thanksgiving. It's American and we are not, so it has no meaning to us but we don't want to be the black sheep and since it's a day off, we hang around the house with friends and have some nice food and wine but not necessarily the traditional fare. So, I cooked a beautiful beef Wellington with lots of other goodies. We don't like turkey but heck we had fun:)

Mr Fluffy is gorgeous and what a great thing it is to volunteer at a shelter. My Missy was adopted a few months ago from a shelter as well. Good for you :)

Annie, she is horrible in that respect. I've had so many cats here and none of them was ever able to get a squirrel who are simply too fast for cats but apparently not for Missy. I'm not happy with her behavior but at the same time I can't be out there every minute to see what mischief she is into. I have always thought that squirrels have powerful claws and could inflict a lot of damage upon cats but again, I was totally wrong. The shot was a snap when she stopped for a second and when I pushed the trigger, that big pink shovel aka her tongue was out :)
