It will be hard to beat the KEG because it's in its own league, but it is not impossible if sigma delivers:
1) 1.2A OR 1.4A OS (even better with 1.2A OS).
2) smoother bokeh (the current 85 1.4, 50A & 35A bokeh are behind the canon L's).
3) faster AF then the L (improving AF accuracy too).
4) pricing under 1500.

But I highly doubt sigma will meet all of the above. Maybe maybe 2 of those 4.

Not quite sure what this post means. No idea what the KEG is. The Sigma 20mm f/1.4|A is not fantasy. It exists and is for sale.
1.) f/1.4, no OS
2.) disagree, but tastes matter
3.) Oh, yeah. The 24A reviews well for accuracy, not so well for speed. Not sure either are huge at 24mm.
4.) Price is known, $899.

The lens works for me, except for the size. This thing is HUGE!

Sorry I was referring to the 85A but did not clearly stated.
20A seems to be good btw.

This is not huge... the Tamron 15-30 is huge... and I took it on vacation to Disney :) it's still huge though... like... it's really really big.

I consider it pretty darn large. My other primes are consumer-grade: 28 1.8, 35 IS, 50 1.4, 85 1.8. I'd like something wider, but the 24 2.8 versions defeat the entire purpose of shooting primes, APERTURE!. The 20 1.4 is HUGE compared to my current list. I may just sell the 28 1.8, and switch to the Sigma 24A. It is about 25% smaller than the 20mm version.

I also think that moving from a 24/50/85 setup to a 20/35/50 setup fits my style more. Love my 24 though and my 85. I may just end up w/ all the sigma art primes.

Yeah, if I had the cash I'd have them all too plus the 24-35
