When we went back to the wifes home town we would drive past this place on each trip there and back.
Then I got a camera and I found I had a real interest in these old houses and began to stop and get the shots I wanted.
Over the years this has only very slowly got a little worse for wear.
I think there is a restoration order on it now so it might come back to what it was like in its early days.

THIS IS A LOW QUALITY PREVIEW. Please log in to see the good quality stuff.

I am willing to learn and will listen to what other have to say.
But if I don't like it, never take offense to it.
It is just something that I may not like.

Yes...very iconic homestead this one ....Ken Duncan made it famous when he shot it for a midnight oil album cover . http://burrabroadcaster.com.au …night-oil-cottage-update/ (external link)

Its also one landscape panorama that I personally have never had any success with the times Ive tried to capture it mainly because very hard to get the right perspective .....

One time when we had to go that way we bought a photo magazine and I seen the shot of the house.
Being honest I never liked that shot, I always thought I captured it better but I am sure they had a set plan in the way they wanted the shot taken.
But I do enjoy taking photos of it.
