phase one via slaughterfest. Sony's got size, lens selection, and high iso going for it.

the amount of detail coming from the phase one's are ridiculous. I recall when the nikon D800's were released and compared to the phase one's at the time..... phase one was a good amount better.

Just sold my 28 f/2 and 21 UWA and my Mindshift Rotation 180 Panorama bag. Sadly the lens was being hardly ever used and the UWA used maybe 3 times. Great lens, nice and small, and it would be great if Sony could expand on their lens lineup with similar lenses (mid range max aperture to keep the size small and rely on digital corrections to keep the lenses lenses both small and affordable). But somewhat redundant with my RX1R II coming in.

Also downsized on the bag as well, the Panorama was a great pack when I had the DSLR, big for my a7rII, and now way too big for RX1R II.

For the ability to add a soft release button. I love that on the x100 series. Form over function :D

Usually stop down a little. I will shoot wide open but f/1.6 - f/2 gives a little more DOF & sharpness ;)

IIRC the shot of Katie-May was wide open & Keiran f/1.6 - Both with a CPL [for car reflections] which I didn't take off & that does kill contrast/sharpness shooting into the sun!!

Well off course its better, but still interesting how far away the a7rii is. I mean it is also a fraction of the price and has a significantly smaller sensor...
