my only feedback is that I'm not digging her hair colour - it has a Donald Trump look to it whereas the original has a less perfect more realistic look to it - it has that old man 'coloured' look if you get what i'm trying to say

Hockey and wedding photographer. Favourite camera / lens combos: a 1DX II with a Tamron 45 1.8 VC, an A7Rii with a Canon 24-70F2.8L II, and a 5DSR with a Tamron 85 1.8 VC. Every lens I own I strongly recommend [Canon (35Lii, 100L Macro, 24-70F2.8ii, 70-200F2.8ii, 100-400Lii), Tamron (45 1.8, 85 1.8), Sigma 24-105]. If there are better lenses out there let me know because I haven't found them.

Zethar any chance of a mini review on that bad boy and some shots :p I've got the gas but not out over here yet but Christmas is coming it's just getting it past the wife

I posted some shots on another thread and will continue to do so. I absolutely love the size of it and you guys know all about the image quality. I am really enjoying it.

I hope your wife lets you get one. Does she need to know how much this itty bitty little camera really costs? ;-)a

I'm downsizing my film bodies so if anyone wants deals I have two screaming ones.

The Canon FD 50 1.8, I purchased both caps for it and it will come with a free Tiffen filter. My AE-1 doesn't work so I'd rather sell the lens dirt cheap and go to a fellow A7 owner than sit on my shelf.

https://photography-on-the.net …/showthread.php?t=1447248

Also one of my soviet rangefinders, it was serviced a while back and I upgraded the lens as well as other upgrades. Ready to use and you save a ton versus having it serviced and upgrading it yourself. For anyone in this A7 thread I will include the Leica Thread Mount adapter to use the lens on a A7/NEX body for free, just mention it in the PM.

Maybe anyone of the manual glass shooters with an A7Rii could give me advice?

Which key do you use for focus magnifier? I used to have it on C1 even on The A7R and S but figured out i would be ways faster when i could assign it to C4. This way i can leave the index finger on the shutterbutton and the thumb to magnify. But it seems that it works on all custom buttons except on C4. As soon as i click it, the box to indicate the area to zoom in appears but a second click will not finally zoom in to that spot. When i click the main button it zooms but the idea was to be faster, and changing the buttons while shooting seems like im walking a circle.

Can someone confirm me that this doesnt work like on the other custom buttons?

The pllacement of the custom button adjacent the shutter button was much better in the original a7 series bodies. Although I do appreciate the improved shutter button placement with the a7 II series using the custom button for the magnifier feels more cumbersome and uncomfortable to my fingers. So I gave that up and now use the Set button as my magnifier. Don't love it, but it's the most comfortable solution for me.

Well if it would just work with C4 it would be better. I have no idea why its not working properly there.. Well, i use it that much i think to me it would even make sense having it on the main dial

Tonight I cooked a large bone-in Ribeye steak sous vide. Here it is in the vacuum sealed bag prior to immersion in the water bath. I also sealed in some thyme, thin slices of garlic and black pepper.

These images were all shot using my Sigma 35 f1.4 lens.

I use C2. My finger finds C2 the easiest to find as it can push up against the main dial, which I never use, as a reference point and C2 is then right there.

I use 2 quick clicks to get maximum magnification, adjust the focus, and then immediately take the picture.

Pretty sweet E36! Is he running staggered wheels with smaller wheels in the back? The rear tires look meatier in the back, but the wheels look smaller to me, could just be the angle.

Some Christmas tidings :)

I use C2. It's like second nature for me now.

I don't have any kind of issue with the new placement.

Great shots. Where is this exactly? Been wanting to find that same parking rooftop view. Seen it before around here.

Same here. Works like a charm.
