Family shoot Sunday, need flash advice

Hi guys, so I had a shoot at this mansion outdoors last week and there was fresh snow on the ground but the sky was overcast and white. Turns out, it was so cold we cut the shoot short, ended up being 30 mins and we got plenty of pics.I have another family this Sunday, same location and even though the weather will be much better (and warmer) I wanted to ask what flash I should be bringing. Looking at the first picture, even though the client loved the shots, I wanted the shadows to fill better without having to raise shadows. While I like the look I would hope that I could help with some catchlights at the same time. Should I use my 60" and Rovelight on low umbrella and speedlight? I know it really wont apply to shots with a wider FL, but with varied FL, I am trying to cover all my bases... thoughts?

I think 1 - 3 are lighted just fine. 4 could use another 1/2 stop. The problem I see with these images is the squinting going on. Also, the clothes don't match the weather, especially with the guy.

I agree, not sure you needed much fill on these...the squinting is more the issue.

Unfortunately...that's just how some people smile.

That mansion looks like a great backdrop, know someone who gets you in?

Thanks, I was just hoping for some catchlights, really that was my only concern with adding any fill... but oh well

Last time I asked it was: grounds are free to shoot on, but inside you have to be like a magazine or something since there is a hefty charge to shoot inside.... however, my sister in-law's mom is on the board, so I might have to ask her lol
