Wow, single image or composite? Either way would love to know how it was done.

Thanks rezcar! We had no idea when we went up there that the nearby town of Bayard, Nebraska lit up the monument.

From memory it's a night HDR. 5 photo's blended: 2 for the foreground lighting (flashlight), 2 for the monument and 1 for the sky.

Thanks Troehr.

Here's one from the summer. The storm chased me off the hill before I could capture the lightning. I recall thinking to myself as I was running off my perch....better to live and fight another day. But man, I missed some crazy lightning!

Jon,

I would love to see your work flow on some of these. Obviously you know where to push and pull based on your prior images. As always outstanding work.

Well done Don! I've never been able to shoot decent night boat shots because of the movement. Care to share any secrets?

Thanks Jon
I usually have the same problem, only thing on this night was it was pretty calm and the tide was heading out, this is a tidal river and was at it's lowest point before
coming back in. I've shot this area before and the boats are blurry from movement.

Nicely done.

Moon did a great job here. I like winter landscapes with trees and mountains covered with snow.
