A quiet moment here on Lake PehoƩ which was just a short hike over a hill near our campsite. This was a 4 minute exposure. A larger version and full EXIF available on the Flickr image (external link).

Phenomenal shot! Really stunning scene and props for the execution. Great work

I love that little tree in the foreground. Takes a bit the seriousness out of the shot. Does it happen that youre a funny guy? The tree positioned like that sugessts that you have a good sense of humor :)

you have great scenery to work with...and seem to be pretty adept at it...keep up the good work...wish I shot good stuff like that just starting out...:-)

Only crit, since you asked, I might crop the bottom to lose the water on the left, being brighter its drawing the eye down there, and its not as interesting as the rest of the frame.

Have to disagree. If you crop from the bottom you lose also the rock in the middle which is, at least to me, essentially for the composition...

The rock at the very bottom that is only barely in frame? Or the one above it...I think you could crop to keep the rock that is more visible...just my thought...not right or wrong...just my view.

Now as you say, might be better to cut the bottom rock (the one barely in the frame) off..

Life got busy and I "quit" photography 4 years ago. Got married, have a great kid and relocated to Sydney.
