This is a time-lapse film of the night skies I created over the past three months. Titled "Into the Night, the relative nature of everything", it showcases stunning night skies and its importance in our lives. I hope you enjoy :)

Can you provide any details about the equipment, exposures, etc?

This is awesome, there should be a contest who can see them most "crawlers" on the night sky, the slow moving man made objects that only come visual to eye at dark-dark skies.
Sat around a few dark skies with friends seeing them .
2:00 mark are some.
Where was 2:51 mark shot at? love the clouds flowing
Is this a hobby or ?
ok, from your video

Things to notice in the video:
1:09 - The Moon sets over the pacific ocean in Hawaii.
1:37 - Mt Shasta is actually lit by a setting crescent Moon.
1:54 - 2:06 - Several white dots move from right to the left. Those are satellites.
2:20 - 2:30 - The Milky Way leaves a faint glow on the ocean as it moves from the left to right.
2:35 - Venus, Jupiter and Mars rise over the clouds pre dawn in Haleakala in Maui. The beam of light in the center is Zodiacal light, sunlight reflected off space dust.
2:43 - Notice anything weird? The Orion constellation circles counterclockwise, rising on the right and setting on the left. This is because Kenya is at the equator.
2:50 - A meteor bursts, followed by smoke.

Thank for for your kind words. I had the following.

1. Canon 70D and Tokina 11-16 f2.8
2. Canon 6D and Rokinon 24mm f1.4
3. 2 dolica tripods ($45 each)
4. 64 GB, 32 GB memory cards

Each shot was 20-30 seconds exposure, 1600-6400 ISO with 5 seconds interval between shots(except for Moon and Sun shots). Process was mostly - Lightroom(slight adjustments to photos, export as jpeg) -> Premiere Pro(compile sequences, make video, add music).

2:51 was shot at the summit of Haleakala in Maui, Hawaii. I did not expect to have caught so many crawlers, came out as a great surprise. Yes, this is just a hobby, but one I'm very passionate about. I've only been photographing since January this year :)

Keep up your passion, it shows.
I was last at Haleakala in late June-1991 ... , did the morning sunrise viewing / bike ride down, you video clip captures that feeling.
We were taken up there way before sunrise, before dawn, it was pitch black, then saw the dawn > sunrise.

Was shooting then film on Pentax 35mm Super Program Plus....

Thank you. I feel humble and honored that it captures your feeling. The whole experience in Haleakala is amazing. The drive up, the stars, dawn, sunrise.
