Ice storm in Oklahoma today. The trees in my yard are only slightly damaged, the electricity is still on, and the roads are passable. So it's time to go make some photographs. Hope you all enjoy them. Comments always appreciated. Thanks for looking.

Nice! We lucked out down here in southern Oklahoma.............. just drizzly rain. A very little bit of ice last night, but what there was melted this morning. My sister in Mustang got hit hard too.

West of OKC is bad. These were far west OKC just north of Yukon and it was getting worse as I went farther west.

Great shots. I went through one of these while visiting Atlanta many years back. Woke up to the explosion of pine trees breaking under the weight of the ice. Didnt have a camera with me, but it was absolutely beautiful in a power outage, frozen roads sort of a way. Dont expect it every to happen to us in the Bay Area California!!!
