Singing Honey Eater

I have been waiting quite a while to get a clear enough shot at one of these birds.
Once you go out to take a shot of them they make thier way to the back of the tree and it is so hard to get a just right shot.
That was until yesterday when I got these couple plus more.
I am pleased with my results on this more than shy bird in our area.

Got told that my identification of this little bird is wrong and it is actually a Spiny Cheeked Honeyeater.
So I am sorry for the mis information, but I really thought it was that.

I have to tell you, your original ID of Singing Honeyeater is absolutely correct, it is not a Spiny cheeked Honeyeater

I have had a google search and found the Singing Honey Eater has an all black beaks.
While the Spiney Cheeked Honeyeater has the Blue eyes.
So at the moment I am not too sure on what this really is.
But it has to be one of the 2.

FWIW. I'm not an expert on Australian birds, but looking those two up I'd definitely go with Spiny-cheeked honeyeater.

I got my book out with them both in it and there is a difference and the black beak and blue eyes are making this more than anything else the Spiny Cheeked Honeyeater. So I am with you on this one Beekeeper.
