Whatever you celebrate this holiday season I wish you get the camera and/or lens you wish for and enough time to use it. Heavily cropped in camera and a little sharpening with gimp. Shot with the 35-70mm 2.8 @70mm thru a window in a moving car.

Mr. Jones, lots of super shots here. I see you have the 24-120 and the 28-300mm which do you like better or use the most? If you could only keep one which one? Thanks:-)

Thanks. I do not own a 28-300. ETA: I see where the EXIF translator indicates that I used a 28-300mm lens. If you click on the Flickr link, you will see it is really the Nikon 35mm f/1.8G ED FX lens.**

I do own the Nikon 70-300mm, which is fairly sharp for being a budget lens. I keep wanting to pull the trigger on the current Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8 ED VR, but not sure I would get my money's worth out of it. May go with the new 300-500mm f/5.6.

As for the Nikon 24-120mm f/4 ED, that lens is incredibly sharp. I also own the Canon 24-105mm f/4L, and it is not even close to performing as well as Nikon's 24-120.

Although you didn't ask about it, I need to add that I am really enjoying the Sigma 50mm f/1.4 Art lens with the D750. While it is a very heavy lens, the optics are incredibly sharp and bokeh is very nice.

**I am glad you inquired about the 28-300, as it identified an issue that I reported on this forum's issues thread.

Reminds me of Wiley Coyote and the Roadrunner. Everything Wiley bought was from Acme and none of it worked.

I still haven't had a chance to give my D750 a proper session yet but here's one from the other day with my Sigma 35mm Art. Having gone from a Canon 600D with a Sigma 17-50 to this, it's an amazing combination!
