We once had a cat of this same colour and it was a stray.
Over a week of me coming home late doing my second job the just out of being a kitten came to me as I entered the door to get inside.
It walked in like it owned the place and made itself comfortable on the bean bag.

Now we didn't know this cat/kitten.
Then we called it over and we seen that her tail had somewhere got stuck in a door.
It was badly broken. SO we called the vet and asked if they could fix her up.
But at that time we didn't have 2 cents to rub together.
But the vet said if you are going to keep her, they will do the work for a reduced cost and let us pay it off.

So we said yes to that and we called her Bonnie and she was a really nice cat and looked so much like that grey of yours.
Though without the white patch. we were told she was a Russian Blue.

I am willing to learn and will listen to what other have to say.
But if I don't like it, never take offense to it.
It is just something that I may not like.

What an aptly named kitty.

Ra ra Rasputin
Lover of the Russian queen
There was a cat that really was gone
Ra ra Rasputin
Russia's greatest love machine
It was a shame how he carried on

Anyone here [old enough to] remember this?

I've never seen it, but it's great to know that the name "rasputin" brought this up. My neighbors (an older couple) named the cat. My wife and I are still pretty young (27 and 30 years of age). Rasputin roams our whole neighborhood and spends lots of time in my front yard. I photograph him every chance I get. :)

No, I'm afraid that I don't remember it, but the question was whether I was old enough to remember it and the answer is that I was thirty something so I suppose that I was old enough.
