A few of my favourites from last week in Jamaica. This was my second destination wedding. C&C welcome!

Always great work!

You packed well...I settled on a lighter setup when I shot a destination wedding in Montego Bay. I was worried my bag wouldn't qualify as a carry-on...or even that customs would have an issue with the gear I was bringing in.

I severely overplayed those concerns. I'd definitely utilize more space in the future. Did you bring an assistant, or recruit help when you got there?

Thanks! I don't worry too much about the carry-on restrictions, it's twice as heavy as it's supposed to be, but the airline doesn't want me to check $8000 in camera gear any more than I want to. I think customs will always be in the back of my head.

No assistant; my wife came with me as we knew a couple in the wedding party. This year will be my first season with an assistant for weddings, looking forward to an extra set of hands. I've never hesitated to ask someone to hold a light for a few minutes, usually someone is eager to help.

It's a 25" diffused umbrella with 3 flashes inside. Thanks for the nice words. The 5D3 is great, but I do miss the touchscreen and live-view autofocus.
