This is the sought after final version with 6 elements and is optically identical to the later SMC-K version. Note the "43812" inscribed on the Auto/Manual switch, visible in one of the later images. Unlike the earlier M42 versions and the "Takumar Bayonet" version, this one is sharp across the frame straight from f/2.5.

Adaptor to Sony E/FE Included

Glass: Clean and clear, no scratches, fungus or haze. Lens has some internal dust.
Aperture: Smooth and snappy. No oil or wear.
Focus: Smooth throughout the range.
Cosmetics: Shows minor paint loss along the Auto/Manual switch.
