I finally got my laptop back in my hands again.
And to be honest I do miss it when I don't have it.
A lot of this is down to my back and other arthritis related stuff, so I don't get out half as much as I would like.
So I play with my photo's and try to use what I have been told at times to make them up to a better standard.

But I had to reload close on all of my stuff back on to it today and it takes up so much time.
But what else have I got to do if you were thinking that, as you would be so right.

So while I was getting through all my disc's with what I need on my laptop I had to do a restart and up came the blue page again.
I wasn't even half way through, actually I was on photoshop download when it came up after I needed to restart.
I was thinking this is going to be frustrating. But after a few just hold the power off button and restart it came good.
That being said I think I should look at a new laptop early next year.

When I got this one repaired they sell MSI desktops and laptop computers.
I am not too sure what others think of these or even if you have them there.
But they are being to get into the market here only now, and I think this is what I will look at.
I can get a good intermediate one for around the $800 to $1000 mark.
Even the wife is looking into them so it looks like she know this as well.
So I hope to be back here posting away again.

And a belated Merry Christmas to all here plus a Happy New Year to you all.

I am willing to learn and will listen to what other have to say.
But if I don't like it, never take offense to it.
It is just something that I may not like.

What you should get depends on what you're going to do with it. For photography, the choice can be important. All I have is a laptop. It turns out that for serious photo editing, I'd need a bigger screen. I can't see my images at full size unless I shrink them to about 600 px high.

PRONOUN ADVISORY: OhLook is a she. | A FEW CORRECT SPELLINGS: lens, aperture, amateur, hobbyist, per se, raccoon, whoa | Comments welcome

my laptop I have now is a 15.6 inch screen and the one I am looking at is a 17 inch screen and I think it is good for photography as the people who have it have pointed this one out.
But I will have to wait until next year and hope this one can hang on.
