Spur of the moment decision to bring my 70-200 out for a walk at my local park. My dirty, slobbery and over-excited 3 year old, Apollo on a very dull day.

This is a shot so many Terrier owner will see everyday.
As for some strange reason Terriers like to have their legs behind them as in this shot.

I am willing to learn and will listen to what other have to say.
But if I don't like it, never take offense to it.

Cute pose!

Watch you shutter speed with those big lenses though, 1/13 is wayyy too slow for 400mm (assuming handheld). You could have achieved the same exposure with 1/200, f5 and ISO 100.

It was a just at the moment shot as I never intended to take a shot of the dog at all.
And you are so right as there is a blur to this shot and that down to me with a more than heavy lens.
But for what it was worth, I was quite surprise that I got it as well as it is here.
I will do another shot of him with one of my smaller lens at another time and I know they will look better.

It's a trait unique to small terriers that they can almost completely splay out and flatten themselves to pursue rats/mice/pests in awkward places.
