I only have one kayak, but I could get some reasonable rentals.

I could drag one or two down myself, knowing Medicineman would be bringing the better half. I have a lend-lease agreement with a youthful local photographer with 3 kids--they have two regular kayaks and a two-person Hobie Cat pedal kayak of mine in their place by the river.

You folks in Europe still are able to get to a number of awesome locations in a couple of hours and for relatively cheap.
We don't have access to any of that old-world charm here in the USA. And travel to Europe is incredibly expensive from here...*sigh*
There are so many places I want to visit and shoot: Iceland, Germany, Switzerland, The Alps, Rome, Venice, Paris, a number of other cities in France, Budapest, Spain, the list goes on.
Each different and filled with old buildings, churches, rivers, etc....

You guys who live there are pretty damn lucky from a photographer's perspective, to have so much variety in such a relatively small area.

Lol are you kidding me! You have all the many cool canyons and national parks and stuff. I still am trying to get a picture of the milkyway but switzerland is too light polluted :(

You can fly to hawaii in a few hours. Asia is not that far either.. Guess the grass is always greener on the other side

both of this is true. There's a lot more historic places to visit in Europe. we all take things for granted... :P

edit: I just realized this was an old post. wth? lol

Give me the 70-400, 16-35, and the 28/2 and I can do any trip. Bonus is the Canon close focus adapter for the 70-400 and of course the Nissin i40.

Awesome David. Particularly the last shot. We've had some interesting cloud cover lately. I think I need to do some shooting around the city this week!

last shot is off the charts good

Hockey and wedding photographer. Favourite camera / lens combos: a 1DX II with a Tamron 45 1.8 VC, an A7Rii with a Canon 24-70F2.8L II, and a 5DSR with a Tamron 85 1.8 VC. Every lens I own I strongly recommend [Canon (35Lii, 100L Macro, 24-70F2.8ii, 70-200F2.8ii, 100-400Lii), Tamron (45 1.8, 85 1.8), Sigma 24-105]. If there are better lenses out there let me know because I haven't found them.

I message Mark Galer in facebook on our behalf. I asked him to extend our discussion regarding live progress preview on bulb mode to Sony. He said he will forward it to Sony. He also want to add in-camera timer for bulb mode.

I hope Sony hear us and do it.
