Hi everyone - hope Christmas was a happy enjoyable occasion for all :-). I've been down to see my slowly ailing mother again. Snapped this on Christmas morning, not far from where I live. Saw the shadows, leapt out, pointed, shot :-) Had a three hour drive, under time contraints.

Spectacular Rose.
Strongly reminds me of sand dunes in various parts of the globe.
The shadows make it (and a lot of photography in general), glad you knew
when to leap out :)

Thanks guys. My friend drives a school bus along here, and has been talking about the shadows for ages, and I can see them from work too. I need to get out of bed earlier on my days off!

Used with Tokina 11-16 2.8, first pic is 3 photo bracket and adjusted in hdr little bit then last 2 straight out of camera. Also used B+W cpl.
