Cute dog, but it looks like a "quick snapshot"

Exposure is a little dark
When shooting animals its best to get down to their level - this frequently means laying down on the floor.

I think looking straight down his nose would look better.

It looks like your focus is better on his nose. It's usually best if you try for the eyes.

Thanks greally I've tried closer lower level shots but he is never cooperative. He is still in Puppy mode..

Spends more time jumping on you and licking you ?

Mum and Dad's GSD is the same - she is pretty good after a big walk, she is happy to sit or lay down for 10 mins or so

Yes If I kneel Down to his level it automatically means "Snack?" "Lick"?
I tried the ong walk and wear him out and it resulted in a Frothy Mouthed Tounge out Panting mess not picture worthy
