Sure, here is the original looks like but in JPEG. It was shot in RAW and editted through Photoshop CS6. If you want me to explain a step by step, then I'll explain my best. Here's comparison of the edited one.

Thanks! Sorry I wasn't specific - I was referring more to the exif data - camera, lens, aperture, ss etc.

What a shot no pun intended there.
But how is this possible as I look at the shot is what came to me right away.
Really like it but could you please tell me how it was done.
Don't worry about me copying it as I don't have any sort of firearms at all.

I am willing to learn and will listen to what other have to say.
But if I don't like it, never take offense to it.
It is just something that I may not like.

I encourage anyone to copy, it is a lot of fun..and madding at the same time :-)
All of my shots with bullet holes are done at 100 yards as that is where the rifle is sighted for. It is what is called a benchrest rifle and we strive to shoot very small groups of 5-10 shots. 6mm or 22 caliber with custom cases.
With coins I tape them to jugs of water. With the water exploding it takes the energy away and you can (usually) find the coins after the shot.
With shell casings that doesn't work as well so I drill a small hole in a piece of wood and hold the case with a toothpick. Toothpick also helps to give you a centered aiming point.
You don't always find themvmad
Gary

That sounds like fun!

I had a really hard time with this guy. Locked up the mirror, still got a minute shake. 15 shots later with some sharpening and who knows what else and a lot of dust removal, it looks OK. Nothing special. The watch is almost brand new. I wiped and polished with my microfiber cloth and the dust when magnified was beyond ridiculous :)
