All I needed to do was to MFA with the 2xiii on each desired lens just like any other lens. The camera will record the XYZlens+2xiii as a separate mfa (both short and long) entry from the plain XYZ lens mfa (short and long).

Oh that's not the problem. I've done the Maf. It just still isn't good enough.

Me too. I'd give my right arm to be able to shoot more BIF, but you get a bit weary of the same old same old, pelican/egret/ibis. Not much else around here unfortunately, despite there being some beautiful birds, they're all in densely wooded areas where your only chance of a shot would be a static one. I reckon that I must have put near on 200 hrs on the waterside, salt and fresh, just trying to get a raptor with no luck. 10 yrs ago when I kayaked, the sky was full of 'em

I wonder if Canon's refurbished lenses are as good as the refurbished cameras I have bought? I will have to keep checking the Canon Shop if they are.

All I can say is you'd better have lightning fast fingers to grab one when it becomes available because they last about 1 hot second. Folks are literally sitting around f5'g their browsers or better yet, they have the auto browser refresh set up to do it for them.

I know you guys are gona throw sticks and stones at me but its true all round, getting close to game can be tough.... I call it hunting. I hunt what they hunt to get the shot. we have a lot of deer and road kills and dead deer can be a great way to get close. I find the critters will push there comfort zone to get whats there's. Of course its all to easy for me to say, I have many different critter's to choose to pursue.

In this case I just went and knocked on his front door, wish I had got his tail as well Think ill call this one ...On the move

Nice shot. Nothing wrong with the animal but for me, it is the light play on the 'bow' wave that makes the shot.

Not many birds around my backyard right now, but a few dropped by today.
