Absolutely, I live on the eastern end of long island the water is very clean here, it only gets its brown color when the surf is pumping and the sand bottom gets churned up from the breaking waves. On calm or flat days the ocean is usually a cool emerald green/aqua.

olympus epl1, oly omd em10mk11, oly 14-42r x2, oly 40-150r, panasonic 25mm 1.7, gopro hero 3+ silver.
