Does the TF actually know about the soda cans and PVC pipe from 30 years ago?

No.

Ol' Green was a 1965 Chevy Suburban my Dad owned in the late 70's. Back then it was what everyone around here called a Carryall. Sometime in the 80's (I guess) he was contacted by the company that filmed Mississippi Burning. They had pulled DMV records looking for a 1962-64 Carryall type truck to use as the Coroner's vehicle in the movie for a scene where they unloaded the bodies of the three civil rights leaders at the coroner's office. The best vehicle they found for their use was his 65 truck. They painted it, and paid him a little for the use of it. I drove it down to the University of Mississippi Hospital where they filmed the scene. Was able to watch it, but they did it over and over so I only watched it once or twice. There was a place for extras to get snacks so eventually I ended up there until they finished with the truck.

The truck was originally green. What I consider a forest green. The movie people painted it a light cream white. Not the normal white you see on vehicles, it was a flat white. Even felt a little tacky compared to normal car paint. Even after it was white, we still called it Ol' Green.
