And after a long period of use is the Lens still worthy of it's quality just asking because i intent to buy one .
I see so many different images on the web some crystal clear others have that same blur as on my old 150-500 mm at 500 mm.

All depend the Light source. In golden hour is amazing. With my 70D is sharper in F8-F11

Also is very sharp from 150-380 at 380-600 is not as sharp as 150-380. I believe is because start using 6.3 at 380.

That's my fear losing to much shutterspeed or compromise on the higher ISO , the 70D is still not there on higher ISO. 1250 + you loose to much detail.

I've had this lens since it was introduced and still very happy with it. I've created multiple threads in the last few days in the Bird section and you can see the output from a 1.6 sensor. I am very happy with the sharpness throughout the range and have had no reservations about using at 600mm.

I just received the dock and eager to see how the different AF settings work out this weekend.

Just got it last night and tried some birding. The light was crap, so I went with what light was available and shot a landscape.

I find it sharp wide open at 600mm. And I shoot with a 7D.
