I have the Mindshift 180. Used it for almost a month in Chile this past April. For mirrorless systems and up to approximately 200mm (e.g.70-200 F4 is what I used) or DSLR with something the size of 24-70/2.8 it is a well thought out problem solving system. David you know I come from a true backpacking background and this pack is not lightweight. When we go out for our multiday hikes my pack alone weighs just barely over a pound. The 180 is probably closer to 6 (guessing) but a lot of that weight is wanted and necessary padding....I think a landscape photographer has need and use for the pack because (with practice) you don't have to put anything down. We just landed an hour ago in Moline and I've got my long stuff here and the 180 would be worthless. The 180 will most likely go to Iceland in May since that will be a landscape trip. Construction is top notch and I like the color scheme. If you want I can ship you mine when I get back and you can try before you buy then ship it back. Be a while before I'm home though.
